All Elite Wrestling has spent the summer churning its championship scene. Between the Redemption pay-per-view in late July and a title-heavy run of Dynamite, several belts changed hands in a matter of weeks — including a brand-new trios champion crowned days before WWE's SummerSlam. The world title
Kenny Omega sits atop the company as AEW World Champion, having taken the title from MJF at Dynamite Beach Break earlier in the year. The women's division
Redemption was a landmark night for AEW's women. Willow Nightingale defeated Thekla to win the AEW Women's World Championship and, in doing so, completed an AEW Women's Grand Slam — a genuine career milestone that instantly reframes her as the face of the division. The same event saw Maya World capture the TBS Championship from Hikaru Shida for her first AEW title, adding another fresh champion to the mix. Between a new world champion with a signature accomplishment and a first-time secondary champion, the women's title scene enters the fall with real momentum.
The tag and trios divisions
AEW's team titles tell their own story. The World Tag Team Championship rests with Cope & Cage — Adam Copeland and Christian Cage — a veteran pairing whose star power lends the belts weight. The Women's World Tag Team Championship is held by Megan Bayne and Lena Kross. And the freshest change of all came on the July 29 Dynamite in Detroit, where The Demand (Ricochet, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona) dethroned The Conglomeration to become AEW World Trios Champions, aided by their allies at ringside. A new trios champion so close to the fall gives that division a clear direction and a hot act to build around.
