Adam Copeland

Adam Copeland — known to two decades of WWE fans as Edge — is the Rated-R Superstar: an 11-time world champion, record-setting tag team wrestler and master opportunist whose career includes one of the most emotional comebacks in wrestling history.

With Christian, he helped invent the TLC match against the Hardys and Dudleys. Solo, he pioneered the Money in the Bank cash-in, main-evented WrestleManias and retired in 2011 with a broken neck, seemingly forever. Nine years later, he returned at the 2020 Royal Rumble in a moment that made grown fans weep, adding a second act with classics against Randy Orton, Seth Rollins and Finn Balor.

In 2023 he joined AEW to close his career on his own terms, reuniting with Christian Cage in a bitter family feud and winning the TNT Championship. WrestleRanks voters rank the Ultimate Opportunist as what he is: a Hall of Famer still cashing in.
