Alex Shelley

Alex Shelley is wrestling's philosopher-technician — the Motor City Machine Guns co-founder whose influence on modern tag team wrestling far exceeds his fame. With Chris Sabin, he built the template of rapid-fire, synchronized double-team wrestling that teams worldwide still borrow.

A late-career TNA World Championship reign in 2023 gave the veteran his long-overdue singles validation — a technician's title run built on Border City Stretches and ring IQ accumulated across TNA, New Japan and ROH. The Guns' 2024 WWE debut brought their legacy full circle to the biggest stage.
