Athena

Athena rebuilt herself into the most dominant champion in Ring of Honor history. After a WWE run as Ember Moon — where her Eclipse stunner from the top rope became one of wrestling's most spectacular finishers — she arrived in ROH and simply refused to lose.

Her ROH Women's World Championship reign shattered records, stretching past two years and 100 defenses while her Minion Overlord character work — equal parts menace and comedy with sidekick Billie Starkz — made the title matches appointment viewing. Forever the Fallen Goddess, she turned wrestling's most technically demanding schedule into a weekly showcase.

Widely regarded as one of the best wrestlers in the world regardless of division, Athena's reign became ROH's central pillar. WrestleRanks voters rank her on dominance: the longest shadow in women's wrestling.
