Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho has reinvented himself more times than anyone in wrestling history — Lionheart, Y2J, the List-keeper, the Painmaker, Le Champion, the Ocho, the Learning Tree. Across WCW, WWE, New Japan and AEW, he has stayed relevant for over three decades by treating his character as a living organism.

His resume is staggering: the first Undisputed WWF Champion, defeating The Rock and Steve Austin in one night in 2001; multiple Intercontinental Championship records; the first AEW World Champion in 2019, giving the startup instant credibility; and the Judas entrance sing-along that became wrestling's best communal ritual. His feud with Kenny Omega and the birth of a little bit of the bubbly showcased his eternal timing.

Also the frontman of the band Fozzy and a hit podcaster, Jericho works constantly. WrestleRanks voters may debate the Learning Tree era, but the all-time case is closed: Jericho is one of the greatest of all time.
