Eddie Edwards

Eddie Edwards is TNA's iron backbone — the longest-tenured cornerstone of the promotion's modern era and a former TNA World Champion whose career spans the company's every reinvention. Before that, he made history in Ring of Honor as half of the American Wolves with Davey Richards, one of the best pure tag teams of their generation.

Edwards' willingness to bleed for the company is literal: he famously lost part of an eye socket to a baseball bat mishap against Sami Callihan and returned to turn the injury into one of TNA's hottest feuds. World, tag, X-Division and Grand Championship reigns fill out a resume of remarkable breadth.

With his wife Alisha often ringside, Edwards has aged into the promotion's respected dad — still capable of Boston Knee Party excellence on any given night. WrestleRanks voters rank him on service: the definition of a franchise player.
