Eddie Kingston
Eddie Kingston is wrestling's most honest man — a Yonkers brawler who spent 18 years in independent wrestling's trenches before AEW gave him a microphone and fans discovered the realest promo in the business. His unscripted 2020 debut against Cody Rhodes made him an overnight sensation two decades in the making.
Kingston's chops-and-suplexes style honors his heroes — Japanese kings-road wrestling and Puerto Rican brawling alike — and his emotional matches with CM Punk, Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli carry grudges that feel genuinely personal because they often are. He completed a remarkable championship collection: the ROH, NJPW Strong and Continental crowns, becoming AEW's first Continental Classic winner.
