Hechicero is lucha libre's dark professor — a sorcerer-gimmicked technician whom peers across every promotion quietly call one of the best wrestlers alive. For years an Arena México secret, his mat wizardry — reversals into holds that have no names — finally reached global audiences through CMLL's partnership with AEW.

His 2024 showcase against Bryan Danielson and his Forbidden Door match with MJF introduced international fans to what Mexican aficionados long knew: nobody bends a match to his will like the Conjurer. A former CMLL World Heavyweight Champion, he anchors the promotion's rudo side with old-world menace.
