Máscara Dorada

Máscara Dorada is CMLL's golden mask in its second brilliant incarnation. The current Dorada took up the storied name and elevated it with some of the most spectacular flying in modern lucha — springboard ranas from angles that seem invented mid-air, and a Dorada Screwdriver that ends nights.

His rise through CMLL's welterweight ranks brought championship gold and marquee matches at Arena México's biggest shows, while CMLL's international partnerships carried his highlight reel to Japan and the United States, where New Japan audiences embraced him.

Lucha libre has always passed its greatest masks between generations; Dorada honors the inheritance by improving it. WrestleRanks voters rank him among CMLL's elite — gold by name, gold by output.
