Minoru Suzuki

Minoru Suzuki is the most terrifying man in professional wrestling — a genuine mixed martial arts pioneer who co-founded Pancrase before returning to pro wrestling and perfecting the art of cheerful sadism. His theme song Kaze ni Nare receives sing-alongs; his cheek-to-cheek grin before a Gotch-style piledriver receives silence.

A former Pancrase openweight champion who fought Bas Rutten and Ken Shamrock for real, Suzuki's wrestling resume includes AJPW Triple Crown and IWGP Intercontinental gold and his long leadership of the feared Suzuki-gun stable. His chop wars with Tomohiro Ishii and strangle-first-ask-later style keep him vital past 55.
