Mustafa Ali wrestles like a man running out of time — a Chicago-born high-flyer whose 054 imploding splash and heart-first storytelling made him a cult favorite through WWE's cruiserweight division, where his matches with Buddy Murphy and Cedric Alexander were weekly masterclasses on 205 Live.

WWE never pulled the trigger on his singles push, despite acclaimed main-roster moments and the leadership of Retribution.
