Nick Aldis

Nick Aldis carried the NWA World Heavyweight Championship back to relevance — the British National Treasure whose two reigns with the Ten Pounds of Gold, including the storied Cody Rhodes match at All In 2018, gave wrestling's oldest title its most credible modern chapter.

A former TNA World Champion during his Magnus years, Aldis built a reputation on old-school presentation: immaculate physique, deliberate pacing and championship gravitas borrowed from the territorial era he reveres.

In 2023 he transitioned to WWE as SmackDown's General Manager, where his commanding presence made him one of the company's best authority figures in years — with fans periodically campaigning for one more in-ring run. WrestleRanks voters rank him on presence: some men simply look like champions.
