Sammy Guevara

Sammy Guevara is the Spanish God — an original AEW pillar whose backflips, vlogs and heat-seeking arrogance made him one of the promotion's foundational young stars. He was the first wrestler ever signed to AEW and holds the distinction of wrestling in the first match in Dynamite history.

A three-time TNT Champion, Guevara's resume includes classics with Cody Rhodes, MJF and Darby Allin, his high-profile Inner Circle run alongside Chris Jericho, and the Jericho Appreciation Society heel era. His cue-card proposal to Tay Melo and their tag run made him half of one of wrestling's most-discussed couples.

Blessed with a shooting star press that seems to hang in the air, Guevara remains AEW's flashiest homegrown athlete. WrestleRanks voters rank him on the eternal pillar question: when Sammy focuses, the ceiling disappears.
