Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe has been wrestling's most credible destroyer for a quarter century. His mid-2000s TNA run — an unbeaten streak, the X-Division trilogy with AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels, and wars with Kurt Angle — made him a legend before he ever touched WWE, where he became a two-time NXT Champion and United States Champion.

In Ring of Honor, his 21-month world title reign in the early 2000s helped define the company; the Joe versus Punk trilogy remains sacred text for independent wrestling. In AEW, he completed the set: TNT and tag gold, then the AEW World Championship in 2024, won from MJF with the Muscle Buster and coquina clutch that have flattened generations.
