Big Cass Officially Signs With WWE, Set to Return on Post-SummerSlam Raw

Big Cass, the former WWE tag team standout whose real name is William Morrissey, has officially signed a new contract with WWE, according to multiple reports. The deal came together after his most recent AEW run, with his return being teased on WWE television over the past several weeks.

WWE built toward the moment with cryptic vignettes referencing the date August 3 and featuring SAWFT imagery tied to his former run alongside Enzo Amore. His comeback is set for tonight's post-SummerSlam edition of Monday Night Raw at Casey's Center in Des Moines, Iowa, the first Raw following the two-night SummerSlam 2026 in Minneapolis.

Cass wrestled in WWE from roughly 2013 to 2018, rising to prominence as one half of a popular tag team before an initial singles push, and later appeared in AEW. His signing adds a fresh name to WWE's Raw roster as the company reshapes its lineup coming out of SummerSlam weekend.
