Finn Balor

Finn Balor built two legacies before most wrestlers build one. As Prince Devitt in New Japan, he founded the Bullet Club in 2013 — the most influential faction of the modern era — and made the junior heavyweight division appointment viewing. In WWE, he became the first Universal Champion in 2016, though injury forced him to relinquish the title the next night.

His Demon alter ego, a body-painted horror-movie entrance, turned big events into theater. Balor's second NXT run during the pandemic era produced a colder, meaner champion and some of his best work, before returning to the main roster and helping lead the Judgment Day faction to tag team gold.
