Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio is the greatest cruiserweight of all time and the most beloved luchador ever to work in the United States. Trained in Tijuana and famous through AAA, ECW and WCW's cruiserweight revolution, the master of the 619 brought lucha libre to global mainstream audiences without ever losing its soul.

His 2006 world championship win in WWE — dedicated to his late friend Eddie Guerrero — remains one of wrestling's most emotional triumphs. Across three decades he has held world, Intercontinental, United States, cruiserweight and tag team titles, and his WrestleMania 39 match against his son Dominik turned family drama into box office.
